It is really difficult to choose which are the most touristic beaches of Ibiza as each and every one of its coves, most of them small in size, are very frequented.
To begin, we have chosen three of the most tourist, equipped with all kinds of services.
Playa d’en Bossa: It is one of the best-known beaches of Ibiza and one of the most tourist. Recommended for those who seek fashionable places and a lot of social life. Throughout its two kilometres-long you can find all kind of premises, highlighting especially the beach bars with Balinese loungers and with DJ DJing live any style of music. It also has all kinds of business activities to do on the water, from Jet Ski rentals to catamaran trips.
Cala de Benirras: In recent years, it has become very popular due to its sunset views, considered the most beautiful in Ibiza. In addition, this is accentuated because at sunset there is a hippie show in which a group of people play their drums while the sky is dyed red when the sun goes down.
Due to the success that this cove has had, it is common for high season to be filled very early, prohibiting access.
Cala de San Vicente: Another cove considered the largest and has all kinds of services for tourists, such as restaurants or rental of hammocks. The pines that surround it make it a place very sheltered from the wind and there are several hotels on the beachfront, so it is among the most popular on the island.
The quietest coves
As we have said before, talking about a quiet cove in Ibiza is complicated and sometimes it is reduced to choosing the least crowded, especially during the summer. These are two of those that can still be enjoyed calmly.
Cala Oliveira: Its bad accesses have managed to keep this cove as one of the quietest in Ibiza. It combines an area of sand where you can even find sunbeds for rent with an area of rocks ideal for those seeking maximum tranquillity.
Cala Atlantis: Another cove with very bad accessibility and that also lacks sand. However, for those who are in good physical shape and do not mind lying on the rocks, this cove offers tranquillity, beautiful views and clear waters with very few people around.
